I love music. I spent my formative years around the Athens GA music scene of the 1980s. I've seen more live shows than I can count, and many of my friends are musicians. Several times, bands have crashed on my floor after their shows because they had nowhere else to stay. Hotels can be expensive, and who has time to make the arrangements? Nobody joins a band to spend hours making travel plans.

I know hotels. I was raised as a "hotel brat", with a father who was a sales executive for several national hotel chains. At 24 years old I was a reservations manager at an upscale 400-room property in downtown Chicago. While there, I booked rooms for B.B. King, Bo Diddley, and Wilco, and the first seeds of Rock N Rest Travel Services were planted.

After spending the last eight years at a company specializing in hotel reservations, I decided to combine my passion for music with my travel industry knowledge and my hotel connections. I've created a new business model that is specifically focused on the music industry and its fans.

RNR Travel provides accommodations to suit your needs on the road, but it is more than a hotel booking service. It is a growing community of bands, fans, and businesses, all geared towards making life on the road a little more enjoyable and a lot less stressful, while helping you keep more money in your pocket!
